Games, Games, Games

Grab a turkey leg and shout huzzah!  The 2012 open starts on February 22nd.

The what?  The CrossFit 2012 open.  What’s that?  It’s a series of 5 workouts that will determine which absurdly fit people will compete in the 2012 regionals.  Those regionals, in turn, will determine which obscenely fit people will compete in the 2012 finals.  The finals are, you guessed it, absurdly challenging!

The workouts will be announced on Wednesdays (starting February 22nd).  Our approach (the same one we took last year) will be to do all these workouts on Saturdays (the first one will be February 25th) as a group.  For those of you motivated enough to look at the games site, this means you’ll be able to know what the workout is ahead of time.  Oooooh…scary!!!  It also means that we’ll be hard pressed to do Murph and the 4th games workout on the same day (March 17th).  Anyone have a solution to that one?  Maybe we move Murph to memorial day (May 28th)?

Chip, Chip, Chip

50 Sumo DLHP (75/50)

Check the whiteboard for times.

    Memorial Day Murph sounds good.

Nice job to the 7:00 class last night, some solid Open competitors out there. Let’s do this. :)

Memorial Day would be totally appropriate.
